Kansas has many great historic places. One place that is keeping their historic past alive is Historic Lecompton. With Constitution Hall, arguably the oldest wooden structure in the state and Lane University, this town still has the visual artifacts of the 1850s. Keeping this proud history alive through first history presentations is the Lecompton Reenactors. Visit their website and learn more about the "Political Birthplace" of the Civil War!
